Sancton Hill
Sancton Hill Wind Farm began generating safe, clean, renewable electricity in June 2012.
The wind farm consists of five turbines, each with a capacity of 2MW, and measuring 100m to the tip of the blade.
REG Windpower will donate almost £1million to a Community Fund over the wind farm’s anticipated 25 year lifespan. The first contribution of £70,000 was made before construction work commenced in November 2011.

REG Windpower will donate almost £1M over the wind farm’s expected 25-year lifetime to help fund worthwhile projects in our host and neighbouring parishes.
To get the ball rolling and enable speedy support for local schemes, the first £70,000 was allocated to good causes in neighbouring Sancton and Newbald before construction work started.
Now the wind farm is up and running, we will pay £35,000 into the fund every year of its operating life*.
